Donate PJs, make a day better
The personal allowance in Texas for Medicaid nursing home residents is only six dollars per month. This covers haircuts, clothing, toiletry items, snacks, and even birthday cards to send to family members. When a set of pajamas is $20, that is considered a luxury not a necessity.
Pajamas for Seniors is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission: provide a new pair of pajamas to low income seniors in area nursing and assisted living homes. To date, over 3,500 pairs of new pajamas have been provided to seniors.
